This year’s Ideal Homes show which took place at The RDS arena Dublin was a welcome return to the interior design calendar. great to see so many exhibitors drawing crowds from all across the country. The event was well managed and in these new times there was much to see. I had the pleasure of speaking at the Finished.ie Interiors stage in association with Permanent TSB and DFS. Speaking with Lorraine Keane who was a gracious host and meeting other design professionals was a real joy. My own presentation was titled “Style versus trends, the importance of colour in interiors.” A host of other designers were speaking on the day, most of which are members of The Interiors Association. Notable highlights on the day were from fellow members, Maggie Brady Pearl Redesign Denise optimise Design & Jackie Carton, Carton interiors.
A very enjoyable day meeting clients, fellow design professionals and a number of students which is always pleasing. A great weekend and looking forward to the next one.
